One of the men was caught with forgery devices and stolen checks when his Passaic home was raided, police said.

Three New Jersey Jersey residents were arrested Wednesday on charges they stole more than $100,000 in checks from the mailboxes of businesses in Wall, officials said.

James Miller, 37, of Passaic, is charged with theft, 14 counts of forgery, possession of government documents, uttering a fraudulent document, possession of forgery devices and receiving stolen property. All three are being held at the Monmouth County jail. Attorney information wasn’t immediately available.
