As more Australian companies order staff back into the office, one tech firm has flown its workforce to Bali to “propel us into our next phase of growth”. Airtrunk, a hyperscale data centre platform headquartered in Sydney, held its annual AirTrunk Connect event in Indonesia in September with the theme “Think Differently” through “inspirational guest speakers, a range of activities, and opportunities to share”.

” Airtrunk — which was ranked in the top 10 of Australia’s Best Workplaces for 2024 by Great Place to Work — allows staff to “choose where, when, and how you do your best work” and offers “recharge days” as additional leave when “you need it most”. The company was founded in Australia in 2015 and operates 11 data centres across seven cities and five markets including Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. It is the region’s largest data centre company, outside of China.
