Dr. Yerevant Zorian, chief architect and fellow at Synopsys, president of Synopsys Armenia, underlined the important role of artificial intelligence in the development of the semiconductor industry during the World Congress On Information Technology 2024 in Yerevan, Armenia.He stressed that how AI has been transforming every aspect of semiconductor design, testing, and manufacturing, thereby positioning AI as a pivotal force in the evolution of modern technology is necessary.

The transition this brought was such a milestone that, finally, AI went beyond human capabilities in certain tasks related to image recognition, whereby it reached an incredible rate of error of about 1 percent compared to humans.Furthermore, Zorian shared that the integration of AI into semiconductor design has been transformative. He noted how AI tools are now being adopted in chip design processes, improving both speed and accuracy.
