But questions about whether the contract was value for money sparked an internal review and a pause in the contract, before it was eventually terminated in 2022.But lawyers for the CIT said there was no breach, and Mr Hollingworth is only entitled to what Justice David Mossop described as "small change", which is legitimate disbursements for costs.
It was also revealed that then-skills minister Chris Steel had queried the contract before it was signed, asking the CIT's board to explain what Think Garden's jargon meant.When the review began, the CIT's chief executive Leanne Cover went on paid leave, continuing to draw her salary of more than $360,000.
