Investigations reveal the chairperson resigned due to cyber bullying, harassment and defamation.

The interim chairperson of the Comrades Marathon Association, Jeff Minnaar, says they are working to resolve challenges faced by the association.

Minnaar was speaking at the launch of the 2025 Comrades Marathon in Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal today.The association identified cyber bullying, harassment and defamation as some of reasons for this. “The problems that were raised at the special general meeting we have addressed those problems, they have not been finalised, however the investigations as requested during the general meeting are under way.
