SINGAPORE: A practising lawyer found himself standing sheepishly in the dock of the State Courts on Wednesday (Nov 6), after an alcohol-fuelled night out at Zouk nightclub in 2022.

KOTA TINGGI: The government is working on a new initiative to support companies facing financial distress following the recent success of the Second Chance Policy for individuals, says Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said.

“We aim to offer a second opportunity to insolvent companies, allowing them to seek assistance from the government before being classified as bankrupt. “After the national convention, it could be expanded to the state level later in the year,” she said when met after the MyLesen handover programme held at a hotel in Bandar Penawar, here, on Saturday .This convention is expected to provide a platform for discussing innovative solutions and restructuring options for companies in distress.
