THIS is the moment an alleged knifeman was arrested after a "random" machete rampage through a busy market yesterday.The killer — said to have mental health problems — went berserk with the 18in blade at East Street Market, Walworth, South London.Another man and a woman suffered stab injuries before a hero stallholder fought off the attacker with a metal bar.Trampled fruit litters the sealed off section of the quiet street.

Renato Nunes, 34, who also works on Walworth Road, expressed his concern about what he feels is "worsening" safety in the area.The worker said people are "afraid" to walk out with even their phones, with rampant thieves patrolling the street.The tech shop employee said the stabbing has made people "feel more insecure and unsafe".
