The parent company of Dublin-based advertising and public relations group Wilson Hartnell has seen a significant rise in profits and turnover in 2023. Accounts reveal a 19% increase in pretax profits to €2.27 million, following a 9.3% rise in turnover to more than €19 million. The company attributes this growth mainly to its public relations and influence business.

Profits and turnover at the parent company of Dublin-based advertising and public relations group Wilson Hartnell climbed in 2023.

Ogilvy and Mather is a subsidiary of the FTSE 100-listed advertising giant WPP, the largest advertising company in the world. Wilson Hartnell has been led by chief executive Sharon Murphy since 2018.Dublin Airport passenger cap set to be referred to EU courtA dividend of €2.7 million was declared and paid to WPP for the year. This was the first such dividend paid by the group to its parent company in 12 years.

The group employed 100 people last year, down from 104 in 2022, while its payroll costs rose from almost €6.6 million to €7.2 million.
