More than £2,500 was raised in total from the event and will go towards Hope House hospice, a local care home, and the group's pensioners lunch."We have had loads of people here, raised lots of money for our charities. It's all down to the people of Market Drayton and everyone who has given us donations.Ian Nellins of the town's Legion branch added:"A lot of people turned up, and a lot of local businesses donated products of services that were auctioned off.
"Thanks go to the people who attended the auction. A lot go to the businesses who support the Legion members and took part in the day.
