A resident reported a man came to the front door on December 9 and asked to come in, stating they were undercover. Police watched the door camera video, and the suspect—who was possibly intoxicated—said he worked for the Illuminating Company and needed to get in touch with his boss. The man could not be located.

Updated: Dec. 15, 2024, 7:40 p.m.ByA woman called on December 10 around 12:30 am to report her neighbor, who is not supposed to be on her property, was at the front door. The woman’s boyfriend told the man to leave. The K-9 unit was deployed. Police arrived at the man’s home, and the driveway was barricaded and a BB gun was nearby. The gun was secured.On December 4, police found an occupied vehicle in the park off Main Street.

A caller reported her son and other kids were involved in a fight at the Community Center on December 7.On December 8, a caller reported a driver hit a tree or pole. Another caller reported the driver went off the road, hit a mailbox and then the telephone pole. Police arrived on scene and arrested the woman, who had also hit a yield turn and deer crossing sign.
