UK's Labour to crack down on finance bonuses if it wins power: FT

LONDON - The British Labour Party’s second most powerful man has warned of a possible ban on financial services companies awarding bonuses under a future Labour government, Saturday’s Financial Times reported.

John McDonnell, Labour’s finance spokesman, said in an interview with the newspaper that he was putting the City of London on notice that it was time to end bonuses voluntarily or face draconian curbs.

That's inadequate. How about a government, who removes the banks control of money; sets up a separate entity where people can democratically control the country's money, that works for the country and not just the bankers, politicians and their friends. ItsBanksWhoRuleTheWorld

If you don’t agree with something and you are lucky enough to be in power, simply create a law to change it. This stinks of elitism, do politicians realise how ridiculous they are. I am afraid it is time to come to terms with the statement, YOU WILL NEVER BEAT THE ESTABLISHMENT
