A two-year-old boy has died after part of an ice sculpture broke off and fell on him at a Christmas market in Luxembourg.
Police told Sky News they have opened an involuntary manslaughter investigation after the child's death at around 8pm on Sunday night. The ice sculpture collapsed next to a skating rink at Place Guillaume II town square in the capital Luxembourg City, RTL Today reports.Police are unsure why the sculpture broke apart and have urged witnesses to come forward with information.Luxembourg's prime minister Xavier Bettel tweeted on Monday:"I am shocked and distressed after the deadly incident at the Christmas market where a small child lost his life.
