She says at 12pm, 1790 vehicles per hour were counted at Mariannhill Toll Plaza outside Durban, and 1640 at the Tugela Toll Plaza in the Midlands.
“I can say from 10am today traffic volumes were extremely high. That is the traffic proceeding towards Johannesburg.” “As much we do experience high volumes of traffic, our officers are out and about trying to ensure the maximum safety of motorists.”
