Noticed most of the drivers are foreigners...why not employ local drivers..atleast they follow traffic rules n regulations better ..

There are very significant practical and operational issues — on top of just cost considerations — which is probably why internationally, ferrying workers at the back of lorries is a common practice, Dr Amy Khor said.

Hi AmyKhor, if people’s livelihoods in Singapore are built upon exploitation and disregard for actual human lives, these same people should be prosecuted, not shielded by government policy?!!

Already PAPSingapore has introduced more than enough regulations so what difference will more regulations make? Oh it will eat into ur revenue so cant pay ur million salary?

Translation: Money is more important than the lives & safety of migrant workers.

So basically human lives and safety are worthless. Money & profit is all that matters.

The industry needs to re-think how to manage business profitability without sacrificing lowly paid foreign workers' safety standards AmyKhor
