Protesters have dumped wheelbarrows of manure out the front of Finance Minister Simon Birmingham’s Adelaide office.

It comes as Extinction Rebellion activists are critical of the federal government’s net zero strategy.

However, in an interview with Sky News Australia on Friday morning, Senator Birmingham brushed off the stint.
