Actually you are totally wrong. The institutions facing bankruptcy are failed third rate universities, who originally changed their status from being Polytechnics, and then found that their standards could not compete with universities. Everyone is not entitled to a degree!

Why did you plonkers use the picture of my Alma mater? I'll take UniNorthants any day over all the glorified polytechnics in London.

Let them go to the wall. Unlike the banks they are not too big to fail and the taxpayer shouldn't have to pick up their debts.

And now our Universities, unsurprisingly, in trouble. How much more grief will this government heap onto the younger generation?
