Fiction writers have been drawing inspiration from Mark Twain for decades, but now a sitting Irish High Court judge is seeking to emulate the great American writer in his own judgments. Mr Justice Max Barrett, who has previously been praised for including “plain English” sections in his work so they can be understood by the children and asylum seekers which they address, has written a book on the art of judgment writing.
