With public health restrictions gone and summer just around the corner, people in the wedding industry say they're seeing a matrimonial boom.

Posted: Apr 08, 2022 6:00 PM MT | Last Updated: April 9With public health restrictions gone and summer just around the corner, people in the wedding industry say they're seeing a matrimonial boom.

Bartel Nickel had hoped for a large follow-up reception this summer in Edmonton, but finding a venue at an affordable rate was an obstacle. That's still below pre-pandemic levels: between Jan. 1, 2019 and Apr. 8, 2019 there were 3,043 licenses issued and 2,324 marriages took place. She said last-minute weddings smaller in scope are trending. That size of ceremony — around 50 people — allows couples to choose more expensive cuisine or even take destination weddings a bit closer to home, like to the mountains or the west coast, she said.

"I think that couples have tried to secure different vendors and venues and photographers and DJs and caterers in the summer, and they're pushing it now a little bit further."

White males, boys & men overall have every right to despise their male leaders who have done absolutely nothing for them & never have. Only idiots would fight for a country that gives them no political representation, & sells them out to gov financed, organized feminist misandry

Awww, how sweet! They can share a respirator! ❤️

Hmmmm Just on your app All covid,covid,covid.... More fear generation that most likely kill wedding plans again.

I guarantee a bunch of pronoun people will start commenting about how marriages aren't worth the super spreading. WATCH

Fit for all: Fashion industry urged to think big with inclusive sizing | CBC NewsWhen it comes to sizes in traditionally feminine fashion, there are big changes coming; but for many people with larger bodies, those changes aren't coming fast enough. Western women are fat because they dont exercise and eat like crap. This is sad. I just wish fashion would standardize sizing for online shopping. EG: In UniQlo-Japan I'm a massive sumo XL and in UniQlo-Canada I'm an M. EG: USA GAP says I'm a S...while I appreciate the compliment....in any other country than the US I'm not a S. You could try jogging. You know what jogging is right? It's that thing you do when the ice cream truck passes by your house.
