Last month two high court judges, Judge James Lekhuleni and Judge Daniel Thulare heard marathon arguments in the bail application appeal and reserved judgment.

This case has been postponed to the 9th of June 2022 after the state successfully argued that there were outstanding reports and authorisation certificates and that the accused will be handed an indictment and the matter will be transferred to the high court at the next court appearance.

“The gist of this is that Mafe is not just someone who wants to sit and watch DStv. He is actually saying, ‘I can’t do what I used to do, like begging for money and carrying groceries, due to this case.’ But he might wash cars in his area, for example.” Nton-nton dstv NPA

He was filthy as they come, he looked like he has never ever had a bath in his life, but few court appearances we were able to see precisely whom he was and how clean he can be. His handlers abetted him to look the way he looked.

Who will forget Christmas, about how he acted when he appeared in court for the very first time, at the time he appeared to timorous but that changed with time, and appeared to be trepidatious about what he was seeing in Court, as if he has never seen human beings in his life
