MPs tackle Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng on East Lancs investment zones

Two East Lancashire Conservative MPs have launched a campaign to bring one of the government’s new low tax, low red tape investment zones to the county.

This is about unlocking growth through tax incentives in areas which need more investment. “For too long our area has been left behind but that’s now changing.” Ms Britcliffe MP said: “Investment zones have the potential to attract more highly skilled jobs to Lancashire, and I will be making the case for Hyndburn and Haslingden.”
