MTN Business provides CUT with 5G to enable innovation

MTN Business is excited to join forces with Free State’s Central University of Technology to accelerate development at its Bloemfontein and Welkom campuses.

This is thanks to MTN’s impressive technological prowess and its unrivalled 5G networking capabilities in South Africa. For phase one, MTN Business will assess the existing infrastructure on both campuses to determine the best way to upgrade them to the latest 5G technology efficiently and smoothly. Finally, phase three will prioritise co-creation with a focus on industry-specific solutions such as, but not limited to, AI offerings, SMART campuses, virtual reality, and extended reality centres.
