This would NEVER work in the US and certainly not Chicago where you are expected to work many hours overtime with no pay. It’s called Salaried Pay and not being paid an Hourly Wage where one gets the benefit of overtime pay. But this may be true throughout the US now.

...or just improve working conditions! 🤔

Some of that 'stress' is self induced outside the workplace. I'm re-evaluating all the stress in my life to reduce as much as possible. WorkLifeBalance stressfree stressmanagement

Copy paste any European country’s amount of vacation days and separate sick days. Then add a humane amount of time between being laid off and actually having to stop working and it will take away a lot of the reasons for burnout and stress.

My Gran lived to 88, she worked two jobs 6 days a week! Raised 4 kids and had a washing on the line and a dinner cooked from scratch every day! With no modern appliances? In a house with no central heating until 1987. What a load of bollocks! STRESS? Try being poor in the UK.

But you have to work 12 hour days...

So it's almost as if.....burnout + stress is a bad thing? 🤔
