To optimize our global real estate footprint and better support those needs, we have decided to consolidate our San Francisco-based office.
Autodesk has been making efforts to shrink its real estate holdings in recent years, giving up space in both San Rafael and 300 Mission St. in San Francisco. It is not planning on giving up its office space at Pier 9, the spokesperson confirmed. There are 2,387 Autodesk employees in the Bay Area, according to LinkedIn. Founded in 1982 in Mill Valley, the company has more than 10,000 employees worldwide.
