Bank Earnings Quartet Mostly In Tune, Led By Strength At JP Morgan, CitigroupToday’s first set of big bank earnings was a bit of a mixed bag, with a couple of very strong results balanced by softness elsewhere. The consumer appears to be strong, judging from loan and credit card firmness, but geopolitics might be weighing on corporate sentiment, the results suggest.
