ALOR SETAR, April 11 — Kedah Pakatan Harapan chairman Datuk Mahfuz Omar today lambasted Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor for claiming that there was a concerted effort to remove him as the state’s representative in the National Finance Council .
“When in fact he himself has admitted to not having any proof, so how can he hurl accusations like this? This is a malicious act to mar the image of the Unity Government. On Sunday, Muhammad Sanusi was reported by the media as claiming that there was an effort to name Kedah State Secretary Datuk Norizan Khazali as his successor in the NFC.
Mahfuz said Article 108 of the Federal Constitution states that NFC membership consists of a Prime Minister or any appointed minister and a representative from each state approved by the Sultan or Yang Dipertua Negeri.

Kedah MB: There was plot to remove me from National Finance CouncilHowever, Sanusi could offer no proof. This useless fella is always full of accusations, without substantiating any of what he says! Just shoots off his mouth just to gain his supporters' sympathy! He should be charged, if possible! Going on far too long! As usual making a statement without providing any proof. I guess this is OK now. At this point, just say your wife is Taylor Swift. Much more believable.
