DCN-JOC News ServicesTORONTO – The Independent Electricity System Operator recently announced $136 million in funding for a new energy efficiency program so Ontario’s businesses and organizations can maximize their energy-saving potential with new retrofit incentives.
The custom stream allows businesses to install energy-saving equipment that best meets their specific needs and receive an incentive based on overall energy savings rather than choosing from a prescriptive list of equipment with preset incentives. A new program, Retrofit for Greenhouses, offers incentives for commonly used lighting, controls and other equipment used by the sector.
