The studio veterans will look beyond theatrical box office to drive more downstream revenue across video-on-demand and disc and digital sales for movie releases.

Knives Out, Django Unchained, Dirty DancingFrank, a 12-year veteran of Lionsgate who reports to Ron Schwartz, Motion Picture Group president of global licensing and distribution, has been key to forging windowing strategies for Lionsgate’s 50-plus multiplatform titles each year. He also looks to drive new revenue from converting the studio’s 18,000-title film and TV library into home entertainment sales.

“Our transactional home entertainment business continues to thrive due to our team’s ability to create bespoke windowing strategies for our theatrical releases and library titles and over-convert across their PVOD, transactional EST, VOD and packaged media windows,” said Schwartz in a statement. “Adam and Jill are extraordinarily talented ‘homegrown’ Lionsgate executives who are driving our transactional business to one of its strongest performances in recent years. With their strong relationships, industry expertise and business acumen, they will help lead its continued growth while capitalizing on new opportunities moving forward,” he added.
