Founded in 1983, ECUST School of Business integrates the disciplines of economics and management and is committed to the integration and development of both. The School has five departments, including the Department of Management Science and Engineering, the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Economics, the Department of Accounting, and the Department of Finance.
As of October 2022, the School has a total number of 5,542 students, including 2,317 undergraduates, 2,764 professional master students, 336 academic master students and 125 doctoral students. The School was accredited by AMBA in 2012, re-accredited in 2017 and jointly accredited by AMBA and BGA in 2023, all with a five-year validity. It was accredited by AACSB in 2020 with a five-year validity. In terms of domestic accreditation, the School passed the “Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation” in 2014, making it one of the first seven universities in China to pass this accreditation.
