The benefit concert"We Stand On Guard Again" for Hurricane Fiona relief took home Event of the Year award. Nico Paulo was Graphic Artist of the Year, and Dave Shears was recognized as Industry Professional of the Year.Altantic Music was crowned Outstanding Company of the Year and Recording Engineer of the Year went to Matt Dines.Alick Tsui and Christopher Deacon were named Volunteer of the Year.
MusicNL also presented two honorary awards, with the Unsung Hero Award shared by Marlene Cahill and Amy House, and the Denis Parker Industry Builder Award handed out to Robert Buck. The full MusicNL Awards Gala, hosted by House at the Holy Heart Theatre, is set for Saturday night at 8 p.m.
