Shares of investment advisors firm Hargreaves Lansdown PLC HL, +1.13% and precious metals company Fresnillo PLC FRES, +0.95% rose 1.13% and 0.95%, respectively.
The pound was up 0.06% against dollar GBPUSD, +0.02% at $1.2151 and was down 0.02% against the euro GBPEUR, -0.03% at €1.1473.
