The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has charged that Weis Markets, Inc., subjected a female employee to sexual harrassment and fired her for refus

Weis Markets The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit against Weis Markets, Inc. on October 26, according to a press release.

According to the lawsuit, a supervisor at a Weis Markets’ in Mifflintown subjected a female employee to "unwelcome and offensive sexual harassment". This suit, filed by the EEOC, charged Weis Markets for failing to take reasonable action against this supervisor after the employee reported sexual harassments, and the supervisor admitted to some of his conduct.

The EEOC further alleges that that this EAP program would have required the employee to undergo a medical examination and disability-related inquiries.
