Democratic Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey and Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah recently introduced a bill in hopes of reforming the boards, which they argue don’t even help smaller farms and sometimes participate in “wasteful, anti-competitive, and deceptive behavior.
