Fox Business host Lou Dobbs has suggested that French officials were wrong to quickly discount arson as the cause for Monday’s devastating fire that engulfed the iconic Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.
But Dobbs said it was a “political decision” to rule out arson. “One thing authorities are ruling out, however, within just a matter of hours, arson,” he told viewers. “That was a decision made within hours. It sounds like a different kind of decision,” he added later. “Perhaps a political decision rather than one based on careful investigation of the facts.”
The Vienna-based Observatory of Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe told Newsweek last month that much of the vandalism is believed to have been the work of secularists, feminists and other anti-religion groups.
What’s happened to you Lou Dobbs? I listened to some of your financial info yrs ago, but you’ve really gone off the rails. Construction/renovation area propane heaters( it’s cold up there) welding equip and torches, metal scaffolds.hell even a careless smoker.
The fire started at the base of the spire, some 200 feet in the air, in probably the most inaccessible place in the entire cathedral for an arsonist to get to.
We have seen this all before. The MSM spends weeks attacking any suggestion it was Islamic extremism. Then months later a banner quickly shoots across the bottoms of our TV screens saying a man with an Islamic name was arrested in connection with the tragedy.
What is wrong with these people?! He’s a disgrace!!
Probably simply the result of a cartoon about the Prophet Muhammad.
It was obviously to early to rule anything out....what else could it have been?
