The Ireland and Birmingham City Women footballer has started her own business, called LA Tax Advisory, which caters specifically to women footballers to help them with finances

Lily Agg has opened up about starting her own tax company to help women footballers with their finances.

She explained that her interest in finances and taxes started back in university.

She continued: “Being a teacher originally, I like to teach and give knowledge. It’s very important as a teacher to educate yourself in what you’re saying. We’re quite a culture that listens to the news, we hear it and go ‘That must be right’. In my opinion, we don’t really have our own mindset or actually look into things ourselves and make our own minds up on it.

She continued: “From playing football over the years, I have a good network of footballers and friends within the industry.
