Manulife US Real Estate Investment Trust also saw significant activity, increasing by 4.1% or US$0.003 to US$0.077, with 4.1 million units changing hands. On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged by 1.9%, closing at a new high of 40,954.48. The S&P 500 also set a new record, gaining 0.6% to close at 5,667.2. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 0.2% to finish at 18,509.34.
