Casey’s General Stores Inc. on Friday agreed to acquire Fikes Wholesale Inc., owner of CEFCO Convenience Stores, in an all-cash transaction for $1.145 billion.Casey’s General Stores Inc. on Friday announced it is acquiring the owner of CEFCO Convenience Stores for $1.145 billion, growing the company by 198 stores and a dealer network.When completed, the deal will increase Casey’s footprint to almost 2,900 stores and expand its reach into Texas, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi.

Iowa-based Casey’s General Stores operates more than 2,650 convenience stores and is the U.S.’ third-largest convenience-store retailer.
