The opposition party’s support declined by 1.46 percentage points in the national ballot and managed to lose its position as the official opposition in KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and the North West.
There’s been much speculation about whether or not DA leader, Mmusi Maimane’s job is on the line after the party lost electoral support across the country.
