MANCHESTER CITY,SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW,SAVINHO

Manchester City's summer transfer activity was relatively quiet, with only Savinho joining from Troyes and Ilkay Gundogan returning from Barcelona. The club also sold Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid and other players to different clubs for a profit. Unlike past summers, City did not make any eye-catching transfers.

Savinho arrived without much fanfare from French side Troyes, having impressed on loan with Spanish side Girona last season, and Ilkay Gundogan returned to the club on a free transfer from Barcelona.
