Police are investigating a stabbing after the president of a manufacturing company in Muskegon was hurt during a meeting Tuesday morning.

The Fruitport Township Police Department were called to Anderson Express Inc. on South Mill Iron Road around 9:20 a.m. after it was reported that a 32-year-old employee stabbed the president of the company in the side with a knife during a staff meeting, authorities said.

The Anderson Express Inc. president is out of surgery and is in serious but stable condition, authorities said.Police said the 32-year-old is expected to be arraigned Wednesday, but did not specify on what charges. Anyone with information is asked to contact Fruitport Township Police Department Detective Sergeant Bryan Rypstra and Deputy Chief Greg Poulson at 231-865-8477 or Silent Observer at 231-722-7463.
