Quarry Veterinary Group in Shrewsbury has been named Business/Practice of the Year 2024 at VetPartners’ annual awards, recognizing their dedication to exceptional animal care and a positive workplace environment.

A Shrewsbury veterinary practice has been honoured for its continuing efforts to deliver the highest levels of care to pets. Quarry Veterinary Group, which has surgeries in Brassey Road and Bayston Hill, was named Business/Practice of the Year 2024 at VetPartners’ annual awards. Each year, veterinary group VetPartners presents awards to shining stars, unsung heroes and those who make a real difference in their workplace across its UK veterinary practices and associated animal healthcare businesses. The VetPartners Awards are the highlight of the group’s annual Congress, held this year in Manchester, where the success of colleagues, practices and central support team members is highlighted. Quarry Vets was selected as Practice of the Year after judges looked at all aspects of the business, from performance to client feedback and team engagement and wellbeing. The veterinary practice impressed the judges for a series of significant achievements throughout 2024, including: Neil Williams and Lindsey Jones (centre), clinical directors of Quarry Vets, receive the trophy at the awards ceremony in Manchester. Gaining a three-star rating from the Best Companies Employee Engagement Survey, which represents world-class levels of workplace engagement.Being awarded Green accreditation from Investors in the Environment – the highest available category in the national environmental scheme.
