A fire broke out at the Ogbosisi market on Wednesday evening, December 18, 2024. Emergency responders successfully contained the blaze, preventing further damage. Police have cordoned off the area to prevent looting. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no casualties were reported.

Also the worth of goods destroyed is yet to be ascertained.”“If the fire had started earlier, it would have been put out. But the devil struck when everyone had gone home,” a trader said.
