This Hollywood fiction MEDICAL SHOW writer tried to cram her 'truth' down our throats to silence us. We responded with a load of TRUTH.

Lots of responses here to the fallacy of the WAPO data. This gentleman, DrugCopter Joe, would have approved at least two years of it as a member of Congress. And 4 years of it as Governor.

There too busy stopping people from using cannibus still. Morons, and we allow it. 😔

Thank you for bringing this excellent piece to our attention. I hope many more people will become aware of this data and the telling truth that comes with it.

2.6 million sounds like a lot if we assumed each person was prescribed 3 pills per day how many people would that be. 2,427 people taking 3 pills per day for 365 days can equal 2.6 million pills. That's 2,427 people suffering chronic pain out of a total population of 15,775.

Health care providers are basically forced to treat pain; pain is defined by how the patient rates their pain . I’m telling you now, many patients will say with a straight face while on Facebook their pain is a 10/10. Morphine for you all day everyday.

What were Mitch and Rand doing? Kentucky opioid crisis, making sure everyone got their share. They should be investigated. Done a bang up job in Kentucky.

Thank God El Chapo got life in prison. Now he can't flood our country with all those dangerous drugs from Mexico.

realDonaldTrump uses FairGame tactics from Scientology and it’s about time the MSM realizes this!

Was this delivered to your mailbox?

9/10 overdoses are illegal heroin and fentanyl not pills.

So not only are you telling us how much is in my area, you're going to tell me how to get it? Interesting.

Of course they knew bc they have to keep records. You should report on the discrimination against legitimate patients who are unable to get medications they need. That’s the real epidemic now

The last thing people need is being shamed for needing opioids in the face of a devastating health condition, or after a tragic accident. Yet that's exactly what the 'opioid crisis' hysteria has wrought. OpioidsSaveLives

The only thing it exposes is the ignorance of today's mainstream media.

Lazy sloppy journalism for sure! Seems like you all don’t even try to get it right anymore! It’s really a shame, when one becomes so one dimensional with their rhetoric and narrative they loose viewers. Your actually making Trumps point! Wow

Well I guess this is why msnbc’s ratings are dropping everyday. How about a piece on the other side of the opiate crisis? That would be fair and balanced journalism. If that is truly your intent you failed. Interview Drs Kline, Josh Bloom, Red Lawhorn BALANCE

Those numbers don’t mean diddly squat. Why won’t you report on the HYSTERIA that’s killing people and destroying lives? Research OpioidHysteria CPP PainPatientsVote. Read the stories Stop the half-assed reporting. You’ve already done the damage. Now, fix it! OpioidCrisis

Andrew Kolodny is a Fake Shame on you for having that Psychatrist on! He is not an expert on anything but his own Greed making millions! He is not an expert on painful diseases, orthopedics, spinal injuries and more. That is like having a Suboxone Rep know the body

Can someone with access to the full dataset calculate correlation to household income and publish the R-squared result? Also of interest would be to stratify it by top 10 national distributors.

Wow

Smh

Such much about 'deregulations are good' you can say the biggest narco criminals in the USA are the drug companys. They poison there one people what in gods name...

We have become such a fake and unhappy society that we need drugs to survive it. We are destroying ourselves and our children by being such money materialistic society that we have lost the meaning of love and simple life of enjoying each other’s company and just feeling happy.

All this just to be able to blame ANYONE other than the people taking them.

Shouldn't companies that were part of this have to be treated the same as drug dealers? Like Wal-Mart. Walmart

they knew it they were making a lot of money
