Earnings season is nearly over, turning our attention to economic reports and Apple's big event.

All three major averages closed higher for the week, shrugging off Friday's hotter than expected jobs report. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.7%, while the S & P 500 rose 1.5% and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 2.5%. Nonfarm payrolls increased by 272,000 in May, above the 190,000 estimate from Dow Jones and April's 175,000 gain, the Labor Department reported.
