While many workers have grown accustomed to working from home since the pandemic, an increasing number of companies say they want more workers in the office, according to a recent survey. Resume Builder, an online career resource, surveyed 756 business leaders from companies that implemented return-to-office mandates since 2021. The results show 1 in 4 companies plan to increase the number of days workers are required to be in the office.

Eight in 10 of those companies said they lost talent because of their return-to-office policy, according to the survey. Despite losing some employees, 7 in 10 companies said they plan to maintain or increase the number of required in-office days in 2025.
