Ex-Twitch employees say they know why Dr Disrespect was banned in 2020 In late 2021, a year and a half after Dr Disrespect was mysteriously banned from Twitch and moved over to YouTube, the popular streamer co-founded his own video games studio called Midnight Society. The reason for his permanent ban has been the subject of much speculation for years, but recently ex-Twitch employees have come forward and said Dr Disrespect was banned for sexting a minor.
’ While streaming on Monday, Dr Disrespect appeared visibly upset when receiving a message on his phone and said that due to ‘fatigue’ he might take an indefinite break from streaming and social media. ‘I’m just feeling burnt out. Maybe it’s time to start something new, something different. I did have a sort of planned vacation coming up, and I think I might just extend that starting today. One of these ‘let’s take a step back,” he said.
