The Novemburger from Industry Social House is made up of many delicious parts, but they don't quite come together.

The Industry Social House is serving up a Novemburger entry that is unfortunately more creative than coherent.

The hefty homemade beef patty is incredibly flavourful. On its own it’s a contender for tastiest patty. A saucy mix of roasted bell peppers, blue cheese and ricotta bring add a creamy-tangy flare that will appeal to anyone who likes blue cheese. The blue cheese is nicely balanced, present but not overwhelming.

It’s topped with sweet candied bacon that makes delicious treat, and a pear and cabbage slaw that cuts through all the richness. All that sits on a puff pastry “bun” that is easily the most novel bread option among the many Novemburgers on offer this year.First of all, this burger literally falls apart. You may need a knife and fork. The puff pastry is fun, but it doesn’t have the structural integrity it needs to support everything inside.This burger is okay, but it could have been great on a regular bun with regular bacon.$2 for every Novemburger sold this month goes to the local United Way.
