Today, we’ll look at myths about charging and batteries, which is the biggest source of confusion. Most of that confusion derives from “gasoline thinking” which is in all our heads after a lifetime of knowing how energy in cars works with fossil fuel.People thing EV charging takes much longer than filling with gasoline.

Hotels need to be ready for that world, which means letting people reserve charging time with the room. Since many guests come early and some come late, they can probably even put 2 cars per station, but better to just have more, slower stations than fewer, faster ones. Of course, this can also be fixed if hotels just put in a lot more chargers, but few do that today.Many companies hope to become the 21st century “gas station” and have set up professional charging businesses.
