Tesla has promised to bring V2L to its fleet of cars in 2025, but some third-party companies are tired of waiting and have beat Tesla to the punch.

By enabling cars to share power, even something as simple as V2L, it's hard to ignore that this takes away from the value of its $10,000 battery backup system and could undercut demand.
