Ring said it has fired four employees for abusing access to customers' video footage in the past four years

Home security camera maker Ring has fired four employees for abusing access to customer data, the Amazon-owned companyRing reported that it had received four complaints in the past four years regarding employees accessing data beyond the scope of their jobs, and that it terminated them following investigations.recently following a wave of cyberattacks.

The disclosure came in response to a letter sent by a group of senators in November asking Amazon and Ring for more information about how the companies ensure users' data and privacy.
