Japan on Thursday confirmed its first coronavirus death, Health Minister Katsunobu Kato said via SABCNewsOnline

The victim was a woman in her 80s living in Kanagawa prefecture, which borders on Tokyo, Kato told a news conference. He did not give further details.

Imagine what would happen here if this virus was to strike? Yes the private hospitals would cope but if public hospitals somehow have to be involved I guess we all know that infection will equal death
